Coming of Age: Eighth and Ninth Graders

Designed to facilitate and support the transition from childhood to youth, this program gives young people a chance to learn about themselves and their faith and belief system, to make new friends, to develop a relationship with an adult mentor and to have fun!

Coming of Age provides opportunities for friendship and structured experiences that help children make decisions about how they want to grow up. It's a chance for them to explore their talents and gifts, their core beliefs, and their strengths and weaknesses. Activities may include parties, camping, traveling, or attending special events.

Coming of Age runs on alternate years with OWL and therefore will be offered for the church year of 2010-2011.
