Our Whole Lives (OWL)

OWL (Our Whole Lives):
Sixth through Ninth Graders

In an effort to keep up with rapidly changing times, for the first time we will offer the Our Whole Lives (OWL) program for sixth and seventh graders in a separate, age-appropriate class. A more advanced OWL program will be held for 8th and 9th graders.

OWL is sexuality education developed by the UU Association and the United Church of Christ. Classes are led by teachers certified through extensive OWL training. The program is designed to help adolescents gain the knowledge, values and communication skills they need to lead healthy and responsible lives, and is based on respect, justice and inclusiveness. Eligible students will receive a letter with more information. Parents are required to attend an OWL orientation session.
