The Religious Education (RE) program at Unitarian Universalist Congregation serves children from preschool to twelfth grade in a safe, nurturing environment through programs that are age-specific to enable and enhance the learning experience.

Our programs are:

  • Church School: Preschool through Seventh Graders
  • Joyful Journey: Third and Fourth Graders
  • Coming of Age: Eighth and Ninth Graders
  • Our Whole Lives (OWL): Eighth and Ninth Graders
  • Youth Group: Ninth through Twelfth Graders

Each program is detailed on its own webpage in this section.

Cost

Most of the RE program's financial support comes from pledge contributions. We request an additional contribution of $40 per child, with a maximum of $100 per family, to help cover the costs of supplies and materials. If this contribution will cause a hardship for your family, please talk to Sam Jones, religious education director, about assistance. We want all children to be able to attend church school.

Nursery

Nursery care is provided for infant through three-year-old children starting at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. Our goal is to make children as comfortable and happy as possible during the church service! There is no charge for nursery services.
